LB Services – Permitting and Licensing is the City of Long Beach’s online permit system. This portal is a fast and easy way to obtain building permits for; Renewable Energy (PV, ESS, EVCS), Building Reroof, Electrical Panel/Subpanel Changeout, Water Heater Changeout for Single-Family/Duplex Dwellings and commercial projects.

This system also allows you to apply for planning entitlements related to Site Plan Review, Creative Sign Permits, and Sign Programs.
